Multi-enzyme supplement of plant origin that promotes digestion. Useful in case of digestive disorders such as: feeling of abdominal fullness after eating food, indigestion, heaviness, belching, flatulence or non-specific digestive discomfort. It combines the eupeptic effect of digestive enzymes with the carminative, choleretic and cholagogue action of plant extracts. The digestive enzymes in Digestivaid active act throughout the entire digestive tract (they resist the different pH of the GI tract). Properties of the active ingredients: Green anise: Adjuvant in digestive processes. It is useful in the symptomatic treatment of mild spasmodic digestive disorders, including abdominal distention and flatulence. Fermented rice starch: Provides more than 30 digestive enzymes of plant origin (Amylase, lipase, protease, cellulase) that act throughout the entire gastrointestinal tract. They promote the digestion of food. Pineapple: Thanks to the bromelain (proteolytic enzyme) it contains, it promotes the digestion of proteins. Papaya: Papain, alone or combined, is used as a replacement enzyme in cases of dyspeptic disorders, facilitating digestion and reducing the sensation of bloating. Fennel: Useful in the symptomatic treatment of mild spasmodic digestive disorders, including abdominal bloating and flatulence. Aloe vera: Improves the condition of the digestive mucosa, favors its regeneration. Controls intestinal inflammation, useful as an adjuvant in case of intestinal inflammation (irritable colon). Artichoke: Induces hepatic metabolism. Promotes bile production and secretion. Cumin: Adjuvant in digestive processes due to its eupeptic, carminative and antispasmodic properties. Ginger: Ginger rhizome stimulates the secretion of saliva and gastric juice as well as lipase activity and the disaccharidases sucrose and maltase. It has cholagogue action. It also increases the tone of the intestinal muscles and activates peristalsis. To explain its antiemetic activity, different mechanisms of action have been proposed that affect different types of peripheral receptors involved in the contraction of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
